Last Man Standing – Quick Rules:
- Pick one Premier League team to win each round.
- Win = you’re through. Draw or loss = you’re out.
- You cannot use the same team twice.
- Picks must be made before the round deadline. No late entries.
- If you don’t pick, the admin may assign an AUTO pick using an unused team.
- Round 1 buy-back only (£5), subject to admin approval.
- Entry fee is £10 per player.
- The last remaining player wins.
- Admin decisions are final.

1. How the game works
Last Man Standing is simple.
Each round, you pick one Premier League team to win their match.
If your team wins, you move on to the next round.
If your team loses or draws, you’re out.
Survive longer than everyone else and you’re the Last Man Standing.
2. One team, one time

You cannot pick the same team twice during the competition.

Once a team has won for you, it’s used up.

Pick wisely — strong teams disappear quickly.
3. Rounds & deadlines

Each round uses a set of Premier League fixtures.

Picks must be submitted before the first kick-off of the round.

Once the round is closed, no late picks are accepted — no exceptions.
4. If you don’t make a pick
If you fail to submit a pick before the deadline:

You may be automatically assigned a default team by the admin.

The default will be the highest-placed available team you haven’t used.

All default picks are clearly marked as AUTO for transparency.

If no valid team can be assigned, you will be eliminated.
5. Results & eliminations

Only a win counts.

Draw = eliminated

Loss = eliminated

Results are confirmed by the competition admin.
Once eliminated, you’re out — unless a buy-back applies (see below).
6. Buy-back (Round 1 only)

Players eliminated in Round 1 only may be allowed to buy back in.

Buy-back costs £5.
-
Buy-backs must be approved and marked by the admin.

No buy-backs are allowed after Round 1.
This is strictly controlled to keep things fair.
7. Payments

Entry fee: £10 per player

Payment is tracked by the admin.

Unpaid entries may be removed at any stage.
8. Transparency & fairness
To keep everything above board:

A public “Still Standing” list shows how many players remain.

Picks are locked once rounds close.

Admin actions (payments, defaults, buy-backs) are logged.
-
No private information is ever shown publicly.
9. Winning the competition

The last remaining active player wins the competition pot.

If all players are eliminated in the same round, the admin will apply a fair tie-break or rollover, depending on circumstances.
10. Admin decisions

The admin’s decision is final.
-
Fixtures may be adjusted if matches are postponed or cancelled.
-
Any rule exploitation or abuse may result in removal from the competition.
11. Play fair
This is meant to be fun, competitive, and a way to support Johnstone Burgh.
